📲 Install the apps (PWA)
The portal and its field apps install onto any phone or computer, like native apps.
Every part of the portal is a PWA (progressive web app): it runs in a normal browser, but can be installed so it opens from its own icon, full-screen, just like a native app. Each person installs only the app they need — and each has its own icon, so they are easy to tell apart on a home screen.
The apps
- CodeB Laundry Portal — the full app (owner / office): dashboard, vault, queues, invoices and settings. Open it at your portal address.
- Packer — the warehouse packer: Linen Matching, the Clean & Dirty queues, Hardwash and the Vault. Address: /pack.
- Housekeeping — the housekeeping / cleaning team: the day’s turnovers (guest check-ins and check-outs), a Delivery vans map showing where the linen vans are right now, and the Driver Route with the delivery & pickup bag status of each stop — on its own installable icon. Address: /housekeeping.
- Laundry — the cleaning company: laundry counts and invoices. Address: /laundry.
- Route — the driver: the day’s check-out collection loop on a map, with the total weight to carry. Address: /route.
- Vehicles — the live GPS map of your vans. Address: /fleet.
- Turnovers — the day’s check-ins, check-outs and same-day turnovers as a stand-alone board, for anyone who just needs the day’s plan on a home-screen icon. Address: /turnovers.

Install on iPhone & iPad (Safari)
- Open the app’s address in Safari — on iPhone and iPad, installing only works from Safari — and sign in.
- Tap the Share button (the square with an up-arrow), then scroll down to Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add. The app’s icon appears on your home screen.
Install on Windows & Mac (Edge or Chrome)
- Open the app’s address in Edge or Chrome.
- Click the install icon in the address bar (a small screen with a ⊕), or open the ⋮ menu → Apps → Install this site as an app.
- The app opens in its own window and gets a Start-menu (Windows) or Dock / Launchpad (Mac) icon.
Limiting who can open which app
You can control, per person, which of these apps they may open. On Settings → Users, open ⚙ Manage under a person and use 📱 App access to tick the apps they may use. For an ordinary user, nothing ticked = every app (tick to *limit*); for a guest / driver, nothing ticked = no access at all (tick to *grant*). Either way, ticking limits them to just those apps — for example, tick only Housekeeping for a cleaner, or only Route for a driver. Administrators and read-only power users always have every app, and a laundry account stays fixed to the Laundry app. See the Users guide for details.
