📲 Phone apps (Packer & Laundry)
Two stripped-back, big-button apps for staff working in the field.
There are two focused phone apps for people on the move. Each opens on a home screen with one or two huge buttons and no menu — and once you tap in, every page stays menu-free with just a ← Back arrow, so there is nothing to get lost in. They can be installed onto a phone’s home screen so they open like a normal app.
The Packer app
For the warehouse packer (on behalf of the owner). Its home screen has two buttons that open the full working pages, menu-free:
- Clean Queue — pack the clean linen for today’s check-ins.
- Dirty Queue — count the dirty linen coming back from check-outs.
The Laundry app
For the cleaning company. Its home screen has a single button:
- Laundry Count — opens the Laundry Counts page, menu-free: count what was received and Confirm (or Dispute), then record the clean linen being sent back.
Installing an app
- Open the app’s web address on the phone (/pack for the Packer app, /laundry for the Laundry app), and sign in.
- Tap Install this app if it appears, or use the browser’s Add to Home Screen option.
- From then on it opens straight from the home-screen icon.
Tip The two apps are separate on purpose — the packer and the laundry each install only the one they need. Both are also reachable from Field apps at the bottom of the main menu. The menu-free view is switched on by the app; on a full computer the same pages show the normal menu.
