What this system is for and how to find your way around.

This is your linen control centre for short-let apartments. It keeps track of the sheets, towels and other linen you own, what is being washed right now, what each wash costs, and what you owe the laundry each month.

The menu on the left

Everything is reached from the menu on the left (on a phone, tap the ☰ button at the top to open it). The main pages are:

  • Dashboard — your home screen: this month’s cost, warnings and recent activity.
  • Linen Vault — how much linen you own and where every piece is.
  • Clean Queue — pack the clean linen for each apartment’s turnover and send it out.
  • Dirty Queue — count the dirty linen coming back from each apartment and send it to the laundry.
  • Linen Matching — your side of the laundry hand-off: see what is out, and receive the clean linen back onto the shelf.
  • Laundry Counts — the laundry’s side: confirm what it received, and record the clean linen it sends back.
  • Turnovers — a day-by-day list of guest check-ins and check-outs.
  • Check-out Log — how many guest turnovers each apartment has had, over any period you choose.
  • Count Log *(admin)* — an audit of who counted each dirty bag and which laundry it went to.
  • Linen Schedule — put seasonal linen (e.g. duvets) out for the season and collect it at the end, and swap items automatically after a set number of check-outs or weeks.
  • Vehicles — a live map of the vans moving your linen (via Yipii GPS tracking).
  • Route — the shortest driving loop for the day’s turnovers, ready for Google Maps.
  • Statistics — cost, stock and loss figures across your operation.
  • Checkout Costs *(admin)* — the fixed cost (theoretical laundry + perishables) for every turnover, per property and over any period.
  • Properties — your apartments and how much linen each one uses.
  • Invoices — your monthly bills and account balance.
  • Pricing — what each item costs to wash (set by an administrator).

Two kinds of user

A normal user can do the day-to-day work: submit linen sheets, count bags, confirm deliveries and read every page. An administrator can also change prices, add apartments, edit settings and send bags to the laundry. If a button mentioned in this guide is missing for you, it is probably an admin-only button — ask whoever set up your account.

The everyday rhythm

Most days follow the same simple loop: linen leaves an apartment dirty, goes to the laundry, comes back clean, and gets checked. The next few pages walk through each step in order.

How linen flows

The whole cycle at a glance — clean linen out to your apartments, dirty linen back to the laundry (with a 🔥 Hard Wash loop for anything still soiled), and the monthly billing flow from the laundry’s invoice to payment.
