💶 Checkout Costs
The fixed cost of every turnover — theoretical laundry + perishables — per property and over a period.
This page (administrators, power users and the superuser) shows the fixed cost you already incur for every check-out of a property — *before* the cleaning / housekeeping labour. It is worked out entirely from your current setup, so nothing is booked and no stock is changed.
The three figures, per property
- Perishables cost — the cost of the perishables assigned to the property (its standing preset), priced at each item’s unit cost. It changes only when the assigned quantities or the item prices change.
- Theoretical laundry cost — the cheapest possible cost of washing all the linen for one turnover: every item on the property’s In & Out list is priced at the lowest available price across the laundries that service its group (equipment like cots and extra beds is excluded — it is never washed).
- Fixed check-out cost — the two added together. The table sorts most-expensive first; click a column heading to re-sort.
By group, and over a period
A By property group table adds the per-property figures up for each group. The Period totals section lets you pick a month, a year, or a custom date range and multiplies each property’s fixed cost by its number of counted check-outs in that window — shown per property, per group, and all combined — so you can see the fixed linen + perishables cost you actually incurred over the period.
