🧼 Clean Queue

Pack the clean linen bag for each upcoming check-out (turnover).

The Clean Queue lists every property with a check-out (turnover) over the next 7 days, taken straight from the booking system and sorted by date — today’s check-outs first. Each one is a clean linen bag to pack and deliver on the turnover day. It is the twin of the Dirty Queue: both are driven by check-outs — clean linen goes out here (packed ahead of the turnover), dirty linen comes back there (counted afterwards).

How to pack a bag

  1. Click a property in the list to open its bag.
  2. The bag is pre-filled from that property’s In & Out list (only the items it actually uses), plus any reservation extras the booking system flags — 👶 Cot, 💺 High chair, 🛏️ Extra bed (marked extra).
  3. Adjust any quantity with the −/+ buttons (or type), remove a line, or Add item to include anything extra (pillows, towels, a spare set). The On shelf column shows what’s ready — red means you’re packing more than the warehouse holds.
  4. When the bag is packed, click ✓ Complete & take off shelf. The button turns from red to green and every packed piece is deducted from On Shelf.

Not ready to finish? Save draft keeps your quantities so you can come back. You can pack bags several days in advance — they stay in the list until their check-out passes.

A bag that isn’t on the list

Use Create a bag by hand at the bottom for anything the check-out list doesn’t cover: pick a property from the booking system *or* type any delivery/location name, add the items and quantities, and Complete — it comes off the shelf the same way. If you’re packing it ahead of time, set the Delivery day (check-out) field to the actual turnover day so the bag lands on that day’s Route, not today’s — packing early never changes the delivery date. Use 🕓 Set for later (pack on the day) instead of Complete when you want it to wait unpacked on its delivery day and take nothing off the shelf yet.

Note A hand-made bag always shows. A bag you create by hand — including a Set for later bag, or one typed by name with no property — always appears in the list, on every group tab, and is never hidden by the group filter (a future-dated one waits under Show upcoming check-outs until its day). The same is true of a hand-added bag on the Dirty Queue.
Watch out Completing a bag reduces On Shelf by exactly what’s in it. Made a mistake? Open the green bag and Reopen it — the pieces go straight back on the shelf.
Note The Linen Schedule can drop a ready-packed bag here for you — a seasonal set being put out, or the fresh half of a replacement swap. It’s already off the shelf, so just deliver it; it can’t be reopened (that keeps its paired collection in balance).
Tip A red On shelf number means there isn’t enough clean stock. Ask an admin to Issue to Properties in the Linen Vault first — that moves spare linen from the vault onto the shelf.
