🧺 Dirty Queue
Count the dirty linen returning from each departure, then allocate it to your laundries.
The Dirty Queue is the twin of the Clean Queue, driven by guest check-outs. It lists every property that checked a guest out today or in the last 7 days and hasn’t been counted yet — soonest first. Future check-outs are hidden (you can’t count linen that hasn’t come back yet).
How to count a bag
- Click a property in the list to open its dirty bag.
- It’s pre-filled from the property’s In & Out list (assumed everything came back Dirty), plus any reservation extras (cot / high chair / extra bed, marked PMS).
- For each item, split the count into Dirty (goes to the laundry), Damaged (worn/torn) and Missing (didn’t come back). You can adjust up if more came back than expected, add any item, and type Notes for a claim.
- Click ✓ Confirm count. The bag moves to Counted — ready for the laundry. Repeat for each departure.
Allocate & send
Once your bags are counted, the Dirty totals consolidate into one list. If you use more than one laundry, split each item between them (any remainder goes to your first laundry); with one laundry it all goes there. Click Send to the laundr(y/ies) to hand it off — the Dirty pieces move to At Laundries per supplier.
Damaged and Missing never go on the laundry list. They’re logged to the Damaged & Missing report with the property, guest, reservation, check-out date, quantities, estimated replacement cost and your notes — so you can track losses and claim from guests.
