Message your team — direct messages and groups, built right into the portal.
The Chat page is your team messenger, built right into the portal — send direct messages and start group chats with the people in your organisation. It uses your single sign-in: whoever you are in this app, you are the same person in chat, with nothing extra to log into.
Using it
- Pick a conversation on the left, or tap ＋ to start a new direct message or group (use the search box to find a colleague).
- Type your message and press Enter to send. New messages appear on their own (usually instantly, at the latest within a few seconds), with an unread marker on each conversation.
- Group chats show each sender’s name; direct messages are one-to-one.
Note Prefer a bigger window, or need to send a file? Use Open full chat at the top right — it opens the same conversations, signed in with the same account.
Note Chat is for your staff signed in through your identity provider. The built-in local administrator, external laundry accounts and guest accounts don’t have it.
