๐Ÿ”Ž Search engine indexing (IndexNow)

Automatically tell Bing, Yandex, Seznam and others when your public pages change.

This system supports IndexNow โ€” a simple standard that instantly notifies participating search engines (Bing, Yandex, Seznam, Naver and others, all from a single submission) when your public pages change, so they re-crawl them quickly instead of waiting to rediscover them on their own.

It runs automatically

  • It is on by default. Your public pages only change when a new version of the app is deployed, so a submission goes out automatically after each deploy โ€” there is no schedule to manage.
  • Only the public, login-free pages are submitted: the English and German landing pages and every Help & Guide section (the same list as your sitemap). Your dashboard, settings, data and the API are never submitted.
  • It only submits from a real public https:// domain โ€” a development address or a bare IP is skipped โ€” and a passive cluster standby never submits (its content mirrors the active node).

The verification key

IndexNow proves you own the domain by fetching a small key file from the root of your site (/<key>.txt). The key is generated automatically the first time it is needed and stored in settings โ€” there is nothing you must set up. It is not a secret (it is meant to be public). You can view or regenerate it, and submit on demand with Ping now, on Settings โ†’ Search indexing.

Note Nothing private is ever exposed: only your already-public pages are submitted, and the key file is public by design.
